Preparing for Post-Quantum Cryptography
Quantum computing is no longer a theoretical pursuit. As processors reach higher qubit counts, the encryption standards protecting our global banking and military data (like RSA) face a “harvest now, decrypt later” threat.
The tech industry is currently in a race to implement Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). These are mathematical algorithms designed to be secure against both quantum and classical computers. Organizations that fail to transition their data footprints to quantum-resistant standards within the next 24 months risk total data exposure.
